Oh well unless we try we don't know do we, but will do better if I get another one which is doubtfull.

On second ( of 25 ) bottle of last November's Rhubarb Wine which actually tastes like a medium dry Pinot Grigio . Sparkling clear . Very pleased and Her Indoors asked for a second glass .
Should I get an IBC and a bigger shed and see the HMC about bonded storage , duty payments , supply of bottles , advertising , temperature controlled storage ? . Nah . Note to self , shut up and finish that bottle .

“November’s” rhubarb? Excuse my ignorance, but I thought you only picked rhubarb up to July.

Rose' - 2015 vintage bought during a holiday to Newquay, Wales in 2016 at the vinyard, Jac spotted me from far field came over on mini tractor, we had a chat.
I bought one each of their White, Rose and Red.
The white in 2017 was quite tart, fruity fresh but needed to mellow.
The Rose' we opened last night, drank on it's own, no food, the BEST Rose' we have ever tasted, like silk, nice colour, beautiful bouquet, wonderful flavour great acid tannin balance, with a hint of sweetness.
Will save the Red for later in the year.

Well only two grandkids and two sons so a bottle of Powers and a bottle of Monkey shoulder(both whiskey and whisky) is not a bad haul but the best bit is the cards and seeing them, the bottle of Cote de Rhone Village and Black Magic chocs are a bonus, thankfully Swmbo doesn't drink but does like chocolate!

Ive been experimenting with fruit infused tea wine and pretty pleased with the results too.

Just trying to get the sugar right for the dry, medium and sweet.

Drinking at the moment is ginger with lemon tea and its got a small kick to it. Nice easy drinking and made and bottled within a month - nice during the hot summer evenings.
