Bentonite - at what stage to add it ?
Jun 18th, 2017 at 10:00am

I used WineClear on the end of my Frozen Pea wine as I had a couple of sachets in stock , but if I used bentonite ( I used to use this years ago ) should I add it prior to fermentation starting ( in water ) or add it a little later in some of the wine ? . The frozen pea seemed a success in all respects except for the cloudiness .

A bentonite beginning saves a cloudy conclusion.

Whatever happened to mottoes?

Yeah, What Manny said, Grin Grin Grin but don't forget the amylase, bentonite will take care of the protein but peas contain starch/carbohydrate that can cause hazes. Wink
